Real life Survivor
Ah, summer reading. Just finished Jungle by Yossi Ghinsberg. It was first published in 1981, but I heard about it a couple times on NPR recently. In a nutshell, it's about four mochileros (backpackers) who get lost in a Bolivian jungle. It's an easy read, and I like Yossi's attitude toward life. It's a bit like Life of Pi, but it's a true story and there isn't a tweaky ending.
It makes you appreciate what you have.
